About us

It is our desire to exemplify Christ in such a way that we might not only be a blessing to others, but might help others to seek a personal relationship with Him for themselves.  Because the Scriptures tell us, in Jeremiah 29:13, "You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart".  We also desire to grow in our knowledge of and relationship with Christ and to assist others to be discipled as well.  This is God's desire for us.  "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit" - Matthew 28:19.

Our Core Values & Beliefs

Wesleyan’s believe in one God, who is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and the Savior of all men and women who put their faith in Him alone for eternal life. We believe that those who receive new life in Christ are called to be holy in character and conduct, and can only live this way by being filled with the Lord’s Spirit. We believe in the Bible and seek to establish our faith and actions on its teaching. We believe God wills for people everywhere to know Him and that the purpose of the Church is to tell the world about Christ through its worship, witness, and loving deeds.

The following are terms descriptive of who Wesleyan’s are and why they do what they do. They describe the “soul of the Church”:

The Bible is the highest source of written authority for God’s plan for His people; it reveals how to live out that plan, individually and corporately. Beliefs, practices, priorities are to be anchored in clear biblical teachings.

Jesus Christ is the defining feature of God’s will for all humankind. In Christ is found the highest and most practical meaning and clearest example for holy living or godliness. Christ is both example and strength as Wesleyan’s pursue integrity, excellence, faith, hope, and love.

Making disciples is a clear mandate from Christ. This requires a strong focus on evangelism and training in spiritual growth and holy living. Done effectively, this will produce and promote growth and health in and among the churches.

The denomination exists to serve local congregations. Local churches are the most fundamental and strategic points of evangelism and discipleship. The challenge of the denomination is to keep finding the best ways to serve and strengthen congregations.

Wesleyan’s respect leadership that is placed over them, while realizing that the authority and effectiveness of spiritual leadership is not primarily bestowed, but earned and manifested by a loving and willing heart of obedience that serves God and mankind gladly. Wesleyan’s desire to be leaders in serving.

There is intrinsic value in every person. Unity becomes all the more important and beautiful in the light of the wide ranges of difference in personality, culture, race, talents, and perspectives. Loving each other eliminates devaluation and deprivation of life to one another.

Our Mission:  To reach people far from God with the gospel of Jesus Christ and teach them to be fully devoted followers of Jesus.

"We praise God that He has led you to our Church website.   We hope that you will wander through the pages of our site and that it may lead you to come join us on a Sunday morning for Service, or a Wednesday night for prayer meeting or maybe even an early Sunday morning for Bible Study.  If you need prayer or there is some way that we can be a blessing to you, please reach out to me.  If you do feel led to join us at one of our gatherings, you can expect to be welcomed and  loved on, by our congregation, in a way that is probably foreign to you, but a blessing.  After a Sunday morning service we typically linger, share some refreshments and snacks and just fellowship.  Please consider coming to join us.  We'd love to meet you.  If you would like additional information or there is someway that we might be able to bless you, please reach out to me at WCCSPastor@gmail.com."

Hope to see you soon!

God provides for the ministry of our church through your tithes and offerings and your gifts are honored with faithful stewardship, ethical business practices, and accountability to our lead team and denomination. It’s more than keeping the lights on and the gears turning; it’s about personal worship to God and handing Him back what He already owns…and it’s about lives changing through the transformative power of the Gospel in our region and beyond.

But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this?

Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand.”

~1 Chronicles 29:14

If you would like to make a donation to the church online, simply click the Donate Online button. After clicking the “donate” button, you will be connected to our secure payment processing center.

Our Church is a non-profit 501 (C) (3) tax-exempt organization, meaning gifts to our Church are tax deductible. If you attend a weekend service, tithes and offerings can also be dropped in the white boxes near the exit doors or at the Giving Kiosk in the lobby.

God’s Word calls us to obediently “tithe” (give 10%) of what He gives us, to do His kingdom work. “Offerings” given to God are gifts above and beyond our tithes. Tithes and offerings are vital to the health of Our Church and provide for all the areas of ministry and outreach.

OUR GOAL IS 100% PARTICIPATION in giving to the Generous Future.
